Come meet the Majestic Buffalo!
Vista Wood Bison Ranch is located in Hillsborough, North Carolina on 82 acres of rolling green hills overlooking several beautiful ponds.
Vista wood is the perfect place to have a field trip for your School Group, Church Group, or Scouting Troop. We can plan a trip to meet your group needs and interest. We have held Boy Scout Camporee of over 600 people for the weekend, the whole third grade of local schools, small group classes, and a day away for transplant surviviors.
We have designed field trips to include:
Meeting and learning about the buffalo
Learning about the history of the Buffalo and Native American Indians
Hands on learning with Buffalo hides and bones
Meeting a local Native American and sharing in his stories
Old fashioned wagon rides
Jumping in hay bales
Enjoying a picnic on the grounds
Or just taking some time to relax, enjoying the animals and the beautiful ponds.
